Our History

Origin of Funds

The Old Dart Foundation was set up by Geoff and Clare Loudon in 2013 as a spend-down Foundation.

ODF was established with a mission to alleviate poverty by supporting initiatives to improve health, education and livelihoods, particularly among women, children, and young people.

The Foundation's funds originate in the extractive industries and since inception its assets have been invested in externally managed investment portfolios and UK commercial property.

We understand that potential partners may wish to conduct their own due diligence and we invite any further questions you may have on the origins of our funds and where they are currently invested.
